This is one great example of how a thermal imaging camera can pick up moisture and water leaks within a residence during an inspection.
As you can see in the video, the ceiling doesn’t look too bad. There’s a little bit discolouration but when you see through the vision of the thermal imaging camera, you see how sensitive it actually is.
There’s a dark patch and that is indicating a leak through the roof.
Upon further inspection, There is actually a toilet vent pipe above the leak and that area will require sealing.
