In this example, the primary cause of the termites getting into the home was the lack of maintenance of the termite barrier and a water leak at the air conditioning system.
The video shows termite damage to the bottom plates and studs and also up to the top plate and have eaten out the wall studs. The bottom plate has been completely destroyed.
Many people don’t think termites will attack their homes but it happens more frequently than you think. Always keep your termite barrier up to date and have a professional timber pest inspector look over your property at least once per year.
