I was asked by property investor to undertake a thorough Building and Pest Inspection to a first floor unit in a block of six.
The unit complex was located close to the beach, and a number of defective issues were found during the inspection.

- Insufficient drainage
- Wet rot to decking framing timbers
- Insufficient strength to timber handrails
- Rusted stairs stringer brackets
The defect issues are relevant to the age and close proximity to the water.
